Occasionally customers shut down facilities. Sometimes it is a temporary idling
situation, and sometimes forever. When they do, storage tanks, pipes, pumps,
pits, sumps, trenches, sub-basements, and supporting infrastructure need to be
de-inventoried, cleaned, and often dismantled – safely.
SPSI has a great deal of experience with decommissioning and closing industrial
facilities. From high-hazard chemicals in the storage and piping systems to the
aerosol cans left in the closets, SPSI can safely and effectively work through
facility closures. We provide all aspects of decontamination, dismantling,
environmental remediation, and complete site restoration at the customer’s
discretion.
